Learning Through Connection
Experiential training that creates space for reflection, humility, embodiment, and justice-centered practice.
My trainings invite participants to slow down, think deeply, and connect — with the material, with each other, and with themselves. I bring over 17 years of clinical experience and a calm, grounded teaching style that helps therapists and providers engage complex topics with steadiness and care.
Every training is interactive and rooted in the same principles that guide my therapy and supervision work: curiosity, reflection, and a deep respect for lived experience. I center anti-oppression, fat liberation, and disability justice frameworks while helping participants translate these values into meaningful clinical practice.
Topics I Teach About
Fat liberation and body respect in clinical practice
Sustaining the therapist: reflection, regulation, and resistance to burnout
Screening and Assessment
Differential presentations and how perinatal anxiety, OCD, mania, depression, and psychosis* can present
Perinatal intrusive thoughts vs postpartum psychosis*
Practical clinical interventions drawing from attachment, relational, somatic, CBT/DBT, and interpersonal therapies
Treatment planning, risk assessment and crisis planning within anti-oppression & harm reduction practices
Integrating Health at Every Size® into therapy or other care provider practices
Parenting as a fat liberation practice
*If you are concerned about your client's safety or the safety of those around them, or they are in active psychosis, your client needs immediate, emergency psychiatric and medical assessment.
What to Expect in My Trainings
My goal is for participants to leave feeling grounded and more connected — not overwhelmed.
Workshops are experiential, discussion-based, and adaptable to different levels of experience.
I bring case examples, reflection prompts, and embodied practices that help participants integrate new ideas with their own clinical wisdom.
Trainings can be offered virtually or in person, depending on location and group size.
