Trainings for Providers

My goal is always to make my trainings participatory and applicable so that attendees leave feeling energized in their work and supported.

I've trained multidisciplinary professionals on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), facilitated groups for professionals in the field of perinatal mental health, and led workshops and trainings for clinicians over the last ten years. I was a presenter at the 2018, 2019 and 2020 Postpartum Support International Annual Conferences and have been a regular trainer with Perinatal Support Washington since 2020.

  • differential diagnosis and how perinatal anxiety, OCD, mania, depression, and psychosis* can present

  • perinatal intrusive thoughts vs postpartum psychosis*

  • integrating a fat liberation lens into therapy

  • practical clinical interventions drawing from attachment, CBT/DBT, somatic, and interpersonal therapies

  • treatment planning, risk assessment and crisis planning within anti-oppression & harm reduction practices

*If you are concerned about your client's safety or the safety of those around them, or they are in active psychosis, your client needs immediate, emergency psychiatric and medical assessment.
