Friday Supervision Group

Meeting from January - April 2024 and offering 16 group supervision hours, this group will meet on zoom Friday mornings from 9:00-11:00 am PST for 8 sessions. $800 or four payments of $200.

This group is for associates and early career therapists looking for a space for reflective, clinical consultation & community grounded in anti-oppression & body liberation.
If you attend the series in full, you will be able to receive 16 group supervision hours.
I ask that you have an individual supervisor who is signing off on your direct client hours. I will sign off on 16 group supervision hours if you attend all groups and provide you with the DOH paperwork you need at the conclusion of the series.
Groups are structured with a check in, identifying questions or issues that attendees are bringing to the group for that day, and discussion / exploring a topic—often starting with questions like what are we told to do and by who? What do our ethics say? What are the risks for harm and to which populations? What serves our clients? What serves us to work sustainably? Participants will have an opportunity to identify topics of interest to them. Past themes have included boundaries, self-disclosure, ethics, diagnosing, and endings with clients.
The style of group that I facilitate is a reflective group where all members' experiences and feedback is valued. We try to limit advice-giving except when expressly asked for by another participant.
Attendance Policies for All Groups:
I will accommodate a request to cancel a registration up to 1 week prior to the first session and will refund your payment. To cancel, please email me at laurie@laurieganberg.com.
If enrollment is below the minimum, I reserve the right to cancel up to 48 hours before the first session. If the group is cancelled, you will be contacted at the phone and/or email you provided upon registration. In the event that I cancel due to low enrollment, I will issue a full refund.
If you join a session late or miss a session once the series starts, no refunds will be given.
Supervision hours for licensure will be documented based on attendance (N/A for Drop In Consultation Groups).
